According to the preliminary investigation, the suspect, identified as a Black male in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5'6" tall, entered the store wearing a black mask and white hood under a tan hoodie, combined with blue jeans and black boots, proceeded to assault the clerk and stole items from behind the counter before escaping in a tan sedan which was an unsettling scene all told.

Detectives from the Regional Crimes Unit are taking charge of the investigation, working to unravel the circumstances and apprehend the individual responsible for the crime.
