According to preliminary information provided to MySA, San Antonio police were dispatched at about 5:10 p.m. after "an unknown caller contacted security to inform them of a bomb threat." Officers then "conducted a detailed sweep" of the mall and reported they did not locate any device. MySA reported that the mall was eventually cleared to resume normal operations. As of that report, the agency said its investigation was still ongoing.

Other commenters said they were turned away from stores and posted short clips that appeared to show empty corridors and closed-off food court entrances.

The shopping center at 6301 NW Loop 410 has since reopened and currently lists its hours and contact information on the Ingram Park Mall website. MySA reported that its editors reached out to mall management for comment but did not receive a response before publication. Investigators are still working to determine who made the call and why the threat was issued.
