Part of a larger remodel
The new smokehouse counter is one slice of a roughly $30 million expansion at the Hasler Boulevard H‑E‑B that was announced in 2023. The project includes about 18,000 square feet of additional space, an expanded curbside pickup area, and a reworked pharmacy layout, according to MySA. H‑E‑B kept the store open during the buildout so shoppers could keep their normal routines while the True Texas footprint went in.
