A 42-year-old mother was fatally stabbed and her 16-year-old son was wounded in an early-morning attack in the Bronx on Saturday, according to police. The stabbing unfolded just before 7 a.m. on Sherman Avenue, authorities said.
According to PIX11, officers rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her teenage son was also taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition, police told the outlet. Investigators told PIX11 they believe the violence grew out of a domestic dispute, and they are searching for the woman's boyfriend in connection with the attack.
