Residents of Charlotte County who need to handle their utility payments in person are about to experience a change in their routine. Starting Monday, March 9, the Utilities Department is shifting its walk-in payment center to a new address:
Promenades Mall, 3280 South Tamiami Trail, Unit 505, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. This move is geared towards providing services in a more accessible location, Charlotte County officials announced.For those who frequent the Murdock Administration Center for their bills, take note that as of the transition date, customer walk-ins will no longer be served at the old location. The easiest route to the new payment center is via Harbor Boulevard, ensuring that the center remains conveniently reachable for all. Hours of operation at the new location will keep steady from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays, ensuring continuity in customer service.
