
A 19-year-old man was shot late Thursday near Buckeye Road and East 112th Street on Cleveland’s east side, according to Cleveland EMS. Paramedics reached the scene shortly before midnight and rushed the victim to University Hospital in serious condition. Cleveland police were notified, and detectives began processing the area overnight.

According to WKYC, Cleveland EMS said the shooting happened at about 11:35 p.m. Thursday. The 19-year-old was taken to University Hospital for treatment, and officers had not released any suspect information as they worked the scene.
Buckeye Corridor Incidents
Thursday’s shooting is the latest in a string of violent incidents along the Buckeye corridor. WOIO reported a fatal shooting near East 123rd Street and Buckeye Road on Jan. 20, and the station earlier covered a mass shooting at the Shoppes at Buckeye last July that left multiple people wounded.
