Dallas-born Rings Donuts is hauling its colorful case of specialty rings and coffee to Colleyville, with a second shop expected to open in early March. The new outpost will land in the Tara Village shopping center, giving northeast Tarrant County families and commuters another early-morning stop for caffeine and sugar.
Where and when
The upcoming Rings Donuts is slated for Suite 103 at 1101 Cheek-Sparger Road and is planning an early March debut, according to Community Impact. The storefront will sit inside Tara Village, a neighborhood retail center that has been repositioned with new tenants and amenities in recent years, per CommercialCafe.
From Dallas to Colleyville
Rings started out on Sherry Lane in Dallas and built a following with classic raised and cake donuts alongside a rotation of specialty flavors, according to CultureMap. Co-owner Tanya Solares told Community Impact she zeroed in on Colleyville because "it’s a strong, family-oriented community, [has] consistent morning traffic, and [has] residents who value quality and local businesses." The shop’s own site also highlights a house drink named "Tanya’s Brown Sugar Vanilla Oat Milk Latte."
What to expect
Customers can expect a case loaded with glazed standbys, seasonal specials, croissant-style rings and other rotating flavors, plus matcha and espresso drinks that mirror the Dallas location’s lineup. Local listings show the original Rings shop at 6053 Sherry Lane, per MapQuest. Delivery platforms also list ordering options for the Dallas store, according to Uber Eats.
Neighborhood fit
Leasing materials describe Tara Village as a roughly 39,000-square-foot neighborhood hub near top-rated schools, which helps explain why retailers are eyeing the center, per LoopNet. Rings lists its menu highlights and contact details on its official site, and any last-minute updates on the Colleyville opening are expected to land at Rings Donuts.
