The Wake County Animal Center may be temporarily closed for renovations, but Valentine’s Day celebrations are continuing with a special promotion. The Wake County Government announced on a Facebook post a discount on adoption fees for animals in foster care that are looking for permanent homes.
In a Facebook post, from yesterday through February 15, the Wake County Animal Center is running the "Sweetheart Adoption Special," offering reduced fees for adoptions. Dogs can be adopted for $25, and cats over five months old are available for $5. The promotion provides an opportunity for animals in foster care to find permanent homes.
