Yesterday afternoon, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of an apartment parking garage on Paseo Park Road, just west of the University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail intersection, near UCF, resulting in two vehicles turning into fiery wrecks.
The blaze quickly caught the attention of the Orange County Fire Rescue crews, who arrived to find the vehicles already engulfed in flames which not only charred the automobiles but also managed to lick the exterior wall of the garage, the commotion and urgency palpable as smoke seeped into the adjacent hallways, thick and suffocating in its steady advance, this according to a ClickOrlando report.
Meanwhile, WESH added that the parking garage is part of the residential complex at 2525 Paseo Park Road and emphasized the homes' close proximity to the flames, which was a key factor in the smoke permeation issue. As of now, no additional details have been released, and there were no immediate reports of injuries resulting from the incident, leaving community members to await further information on the cause and potential ramifications of the fire.
