The Pullen Community Center invites locals to come together and channel their inner artists into creating bespoke Valentines. This event serves up a dash of traditional crafting for a modern twist on a sentimental holiday.
For just $5 a head, attendees are promised an assortment of crafting materials—from paper to lace—apt to spark creativity and give rise to personalized tokens of affection. In a cozy, inclusive atmosphere, participants of all ages can design up to five Valentines to take home. And to sweeten the deal, light snacks are on offer, though you're free to also bring your own meal if you prefer. The center asks to be notified at least two days prior if any dietary restrictions need to be accommodated.
The event, as mentioned on the City of Raleigh's website, is set for February 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The program supports drop-ins, but for the sake of planning, registration through RecLink is recommended.
