
A 45-year-old man was found dead outside an apartment complex in the 1800 block of 30th Street on Monday morning, and Greeley police are now trying to piece together how he ended up with a visible head injury and no signs of life.
Investigation details
Officers were dispatched around 8:15 a.m. on a call for medical assistance and found the man outside the building, according to Denver7. He was pronounced dead at the scene as detectives moved in to secure the area and start their investigation.
The Weld County Coroner's Office is responsible for releasing the victim’s name, as well as the official manner and cause of death, once next of kin have been notified, Denver7 reported.
