
An yesterday evening at a northwest Houston gym turned into an active crime scene when two people were shot at or near the Life Time Champions fitness club in the Willowbrook area, according to Houston police.
Officers were called around 5:24 p.m. to the area of Willow Chase Boulevard near Centerfield Drive, where they found two people with gunshot wounds, authorities said. One person was detained at the scene as investigators tried to sort out what led up to the gunfire.
Investigators have not yet confirmed whether the shooting happened inside the Life Time Champions facility or outside the building, the Houston Police Department told KHOU. Police also have not released the victims’ ages, genders, or medical conditions, and say the case remains very much active.

The shooting was reported near Life Time Champions at 7717 Willow Chase Blvd, a large gym planted in the middle of the busy Willowbrook retail corridor.
