Deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 rushed to the neighborhood after reports that three males opened fire on a vehicle, then sped away as the street was quickly shut down for an active investigation.

According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, deputies actually saw three male suspects firing at a vehicle on Bedell Bridge Lane, just off Timber Forest Drive and Valley Lodge Parkway, before the suspects took off from the scene. The constable's post urged neighbors to steer clear of the area while deputies canvassed the neighborhood and asked anyone with information to call in tips that could move the investigation forward.

FOX 26 Houston reports that a male victim was found with gunshot wounds and taken to a nearby hospital after the shooting was reported Wednesday afternoon.
