
A late-night hangout at a Northwest Side hookah lounge turned deadly when gunfire from a sedan killed two men in their 20s outside the business, San Antonio police said. Both men were hit in an outdoor smoking area and were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
Officers were called to the 4500 block of North Loop 1604 West near Lockhill Selma Road, where police say a sedan pulled up in front of Myst Hookah and Ultra Lounge and someone inside opened fire into a crowd gathered outside, as reported by KENS5. EMS pronounced both victims dead at the scene, according to authorities on the initial report. No arrests had been announced and detectives were searching for the shooter or shooters, police said.

SAPD detectives are working to piece together what led up to the shooting and have asked anyone with information or video to contact investigators.
