The Hamilton family behind Brother's Pizza on Route 33 and Blend Bar & Bistro is taking its act to the links, launching Apron, a new restaurant concept set to land at two Mercer County golf venues this spring. The Carannante family says Apron will be open to the general public, not just golfers, and that the operation will be led by Antonio Carannante, marking a notable step up for a group that has been a township fixture for decades.
According to 94.5 PST, the family announced in social media posts that Apron will have one location at Princeton Country Club and another at Mountain View Golf Course in Ewing Township. The station notes that the name "Apron" refers to the strip of grass around the edge of a putting green, and reports that both sites are expected to open in late spring. 94.5 PST also spotted a hiring page for the new spots listing baristas, bartenders, servers, beverage-cart attendants and line cooks.
County Lists Apron As Official Caterer
Mercer County Golf now identifies "The Apron by Blend Hamilton" as the official caterer for both Princeton Country Club and Mountain View Golf Course. The county's update names the courses, provides contact numbers and confirms the group's new role at both facilities, signaling that Apron will be handling food service on and around the fairways.
From Local Pizza To Club Dining
Brother's Pizza highlights the Carannante family's long-running Route 33 presence, while the site for Blend Bar & Bistro leans into events and catering. Taken together with the group's NJ Weddings & Events business, those holdings suggest Apron will rely heavily on existing catering know-how as it settles into the two golf-club locations.
Hiring Now, Openings Later This Spring
As noted by 94.5 PST, the Apron hiring page is already live, listing positions for both the grill room and catering operations at Mountain View and Princeton Country Club. Roles include baristas, bartenders, servers, beverage-cart attendants and line cooks. The station reports that the group's social post promises daily menus and full-service event catering "on and off the green," although management has not yet put specific grand-opening dates on the calendar.
