
Houston robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify two men accused of holding up a convenience store in the 7700 block of Bellaire on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Police say one of the suspects walked up to the clerk, claimed he had a gun and demanded cash before both men took off from the scene. In surveillance stills released by investigators, the taller suspect is seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white shoes.
The latest alert went out Tuesday from the Houston Police Robbery on X account, which directs tipsters to Crime Stoppers of Houston for anonymous leads. The post links to a case page that includes surveillance images and lists the incident as Houston PD #1706665-25. According to the organizations, anyone who contacts Crime Stoppers of Houston may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
What investigators say
According to the HPD Robbery blog, the holdup happened at about 8:15 p.m. when two men walked into the store and one of them demanded cash while claiming to have a gun. Detectives posted surveillance stills from inside the business to help identify the suspects and included the case number so tipsters can reference it when they call in information.
Past incidents near Bellaire
HPD records show other armed robberies have been reported on the 7700 block of Bellaire. In one April 27, 2025 case, three suspects jumped over a counter and then fled in a stolen pickup, a report from Click2Houston notes. That earlier public appeal also featured surveillance images and a $5,000 tip reward, underscoring how heavily detectives are leaning on community leads in these investigations.
