The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office posted on social media highlighting five individuals accused of separate thefts at a local home improvement store. The Facebook post, shared ahead of Valentine’s Day, asked the public to help identify the suspects.
The alleged thefts occurred at the Oldfield Crossing Drive store over several weeks. Incidents include two men accused of stealing sanders and chainsaw chains valued at about $250, and two women accused of taking more than $1,200 in clothing and electronics. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office used social media to share images of the individuals and ask the public for assistance in identifying them.
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office encouraged the public to review its Unsolved Crimes page and report any information on the suspects. Tips can be submitted directly to the sheriff’s office or through First Coast Crime Stoppers, with anonymity and potential cash rewards offered for information that leads to an arrest.
