Residents of Morningside Drive and nearby streets in Janesville are experiencing road closures and water service interruptions due to a water main break. The affected section from Mt. Zion Avenue to Canyon Drive is expected to remain closed until around 3 p.m. today as city crews work on repairs, according to the City of Janesville.
Homes on Vold Court and Village Court are also without running water while the repairs are underway. Commuters are advised to avoid the area while the City of Janesville’s utility division restores service.
The Janesville Water Utility says residents affected by the water outage can call (608) 755-3115 for updates. Utility workers are repairing the city’s water mains to restore service, as reported by the City of Janesville.
