In an effort to foster a creative bond between law enforcement and local children, the department has launched its fourth annual coloring contest for kids aged 4 to 10, as reported by the City of Kannapolis's official news release. Participants are called to demonstrate their best coloring techniques on the police department's official uniform patch design.
The deadline for submissions is set firmly for March 15, 2026, at 5 p.m., leaving plenty of time for young creatives to work their magic with crayons, markers, or paint.
