A 41-year-old man was shot once during an altercation outside the venue and taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where police say he is in stable condition. Troopers rushed to the area after several calls about shots fired came in around 10:40 p.m.
Michigan State Police say detectives began collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses shortly after arriving, and they are asking anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward, according to CBS Detroit. Investigators drafted a search warrant for the scene as they worked to pin down how the confrontation turned violent. The victim's name has not been released.
