In preparation for the possible turnover of the vehicles, deputies have started the process of withdrawing their equipment and personal belongings from the cruisers. "How is the Lorain County Sheriff's Office expected to respond to calls with no cruisers?" said Matthew Lawson, the Association's secretary, in a dire forecast of the operational impact this issue may cause.
