According to CBS News Detroit, the man who sustained injuries was in a confrontation with another driver in a silver sport utility vehicle. The children in the car, ages 14 and 11, were fortunate to escape injury.

The suspects fled the scene after the shooting in the same vehicle. The victim, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was rushed to a local hospital. He is reported to be in stable condition. WXYZ notes that the three suspects associated with the incident were apprehended in Adrian, Michigan, thanks to a coordinated effort among Monroe police, Michigan State Police, and Lenawee County authorities.

Remarkably, all three handguns believed to be related to the shooting were recovered.
