The observance of President's Day on February 16, will see the doors of Marion City Hall remain closed, residents will need to remember that the city's sanitation crews won't be taking the day off. Garbage and recycling pickups are sticking to the regular schedule, and the city's statement asks that people have their bins out by 7:00 a.m. Given that, some might be surprised to find the Marion Senior Center shuttered for the day with no transportation available – save for those requiring dialysis appointments.
