The hunt is on in Memphis, where the Memphis Safe Task Force is offering up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused in a deadly 2024 shooting. Authorities have identified 39-year-old Travious Fox as the suspect in the Sept. 11, 2024, killing in the 5800 block of Ridgehill Drive. Detectives obtained a warrant charging Fox with second-degree murder and warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to Action News 5, the task force announced the reward while urging anyone with information to step up and contact authorities. MPD detectives secured the warrant after investigating the Ridgehill Drive slaying, and officials stressed that members of the public should not approach Fox under any circumstances, but instead contact law enforcement immediately if they spot him.

An earlier Hoodline report, which noted the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds, identified the man as Gabriel Burton. He later died at a hospital. At that stage in the investigation, police had already developed Fox as a suspect and were appealing to neighbors and other potential witnesses for tips.
