
The Prince George's County Police Department has provided relief and reassurance to the community with their latest announcement that 12-year-old Christopher Jones, missing less than 24 hours, has been found safe. The news was shared via a social media post, simply stating, "FOUND: Christopher has been safely located. Thank you for sharing."
Earlier in the day, the urgency to find Christopher was high, with authorities rapidly disseminating information regarding his last known whereabouts and appearance. Christopher was last seen yesterday at approximately 9:00 pm on the 2200 block of Monticello Ct in Fort Washington, clad in a gray and black snowsuit, standing 5’3" and weighing 115 lbs. The local community was urged to keep a watchful eye out and to not hesitate to immediately call 911 if located. The police department used their digital platform to reach out widely, hoping to quickly and safely return Christopher to his family.
While officials have not disclosed details surrounding Christopher’s brief disappearance, authorities confirmed that he was located safely and unharmed.
