Sip Society + Daiquiri Depot quietly opened this month after owners retooled the New Braunfels storefront with a coffee bar and themed seating. The refresh pairs the drive-through frozen daiquiri setup locals already know with a daytime counter for coffee, matcha and other nonalcoholic treats. Owner Jordan Matt says the idea came from her kids and that work on the space started last fall.
The Daiquiri Depot, at 311 FM 306, Ste. 1A, rebranded to Sip Society + Daiquiri Depot on Feb. 2, Matt told Community Impact. The address appears in local listings at that location, according to MapQuest. The shop also lists its Instagram handle as @daiquiridepotnb, where customers share photos and pickup reviews.
A Bigger Menu for All Ages
Sip Society added a coffee bar and themed seating and expanded the nonalcoholic lineup to include matcha, boba tea and a range of "dirty sodas," Matt told Community Impact. "My kids were my inspiration for the merger and to do a new brand," she said. Matt also said the shop will use beans from New Braunfels-based Texas Artisan Roasters for its espresso bar.
What Stayed the Same
The Daiquiri Depot side of the business is still serving Texas-style frozen daiquiris, with flavors like Gruene Rapids and Sweet Magnolia listed alongside its classic lineup. The shop's online ordering page shows the frozen-drink menu and drive-thru portions for river runs and parties, according to its menu on Toast.
Owners say the combined concept aims to keep the quick-to-go daiquiri business while pulling earlier and later day crowds with coffee and snacks. For now, the visible changes are new signage and a themed seating area, but the drive-through window and frozen-daiquiri staples remain in place along FM 306.
