The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed the arrest of a New York man on charges of sexually assaulting two juveniles in Pennsylvania. The U.S. Marshals Service reported that Dijani Brown, aged 28, was apprehended in Yonkers, New York, by the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force, which is spearheaded by the U.S. Marshals Service.
After failing to surrender to the Horsham Police, Brown, who had been wanted for assaults on two Pennsylvania juveniles under the age of 16 in different locations on separate dates, was caught staying with a family member in Yonkers. On October 12, 2025, a 13-year-old juvenile was assaulted in Manor Township, Lancaster County, and another 14-year-old was assaulted two days later in Horsham Township, Montgomery County. The incidents involved Brown meeting victims through friend-finding applications, where he misrepresented his age and later carried out the assaults in his vehicle.
Critical to the case were the warrants issued for his arrest: one in Montgomery County on November 20, 2025, and the second in Lancaster County on January 20, as cited in the official statement. The Marshals Fugitive Task Force, including members from the New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force and investigators from the Philadelphia Task Force, collaborated after the Horsham Police Department sought their aid in December.
Expressing the gravity of the operation, Supervisory Deputy Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Robert Clark, told the U.S. Marshals Service, "The arrest of Dijani Brown removes a sexual predator from the community and underscores the seriousness with which the Marshal Service treats warrants involving children." Currently, Brown is at the Westchester County jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, guided by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia, focuses on apprehending individuals wanted for violent crimes. Contributing agencies include the Philadelphia Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, State Parole Officers, and various local law enforcement entities such as the Chester Police Department and Bucks County Sheriffs.
