
A Friday night in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood turned frightening when a house fire broke out in a two-story twin home on the 200 block of West Duncannon Avenue, sending two children to the hospital. Fire crews arrived to find smoke pouring from the home and brought the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.

According to 6ABC, the fire started around 9 p.m. A boy and a girl were rescued from the home and taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Officials have not released any information about their conditions, and investigators have not yet determined what sparked the fire.
