A North Las Vegas man has died days after he was found shot in a neighborhood north of Lone Mountain, and police say they have a suspect in custody as part of an active homicide investigation. Officers found the man with gunshot wounds in the 4800 block of Camino Al Norte, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
According to 8 News Now, the shooting happened on Feb. 21 near Lone Mountain Road and Craig Road. Investigators later identified the suspect as 35-year-old Jesse Robinson III. Robinson was taken into custody and faces an open murder-with-a-deadly-weapon charge, the station reported.

The City of North Las Vegas notes that the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center handles after-hours intake for municipal cases and provides local police contact information.
