
A north side Milwaukee block turned into an active crime scene Thursday afternoon when a shooting ended with a vehicle in a front yard and a 23-year-old fighting for life at the hospital.
Police were called to the area near 40th and Vienna around 3:30 p.m. Medics rushed the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and a minivan was left in a home's yard, wrapped in crime-scene tape as detectives worked the scene.
Police Say Victim Was Shot While Inside Car
According to WISN, Milwaukee police said investigators were called to the area around 3:30 p.m. Thursday and that the 23-year-old was inside a car when they were shot. Medics took the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
