Two weeks after a sudden sidewalk assault in Harlem, police are still looking for the person accused of walking up to and punching four women along a busy stretch of Broadway.
The attack happened around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, in the vicinity of West 122nd Street and Broadway, according to police. Investigators say the suspect took off heading south on Broadway right after the incident.
Police Release Wanted Alert
The public alert, shared by NYPD Crime Stoppers on Feb. 26, describes an "unidentified individual" who approached four female victims as they walked on the sidewalk and struck them in the face with a closed fist. The post urges anyone who recognizes the person or has information about the assault to contact investigators through the department's established tip lines.

The assault took place within the boundaries of the NYPD's 26th Precinct, which covers sections of Morningside Heights and the Upper West Side.
