How deputies say the call began
The Walworth County communications center received a 911 call around 7:30 p.m. Saturday reporting a disturbance at a home on Pine Court in the Town of Lafayette, according to FOX6 Milwaukee. The line disconnected, and squads were sent to check it out. When deputies arrived, they found two men actively fighting in the house, both bleeding and showing apparent injuries, before officers broke up the altercation and detained them. Deputies and Elkhorn EMS tried life-saving measures on the woman, but she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Local outlets report the call came from a home on Pine Court, where additional units from the City of Elkhorn and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted deputies at the scene.
