Adults 18 and older have the opportunity to meet new people in a structured, no-pressure setting at the Five Points Center for Active Adults in Raleigh. The center is hosting a platonic event called “Valentine’s Speed-Friending” tomorrow, Feb. 12, from 3 to 5 p.m., which will include icebreaker activities, conversation starters, and refreshments, according to the City of Raleigh.
For those interested, there is a $5 fee to attend the event. Registration can be completed through RecLink. The gathering is designed to encourage participants to engage with one another and meet fellow Raleigh residents through light-hearted activities.
