The March Madness Cornhole Classic will take place at Latta University Historic Park on Sunday, March 15, from 2 to 6 p.m. The event is open to participants of all ages and will feature a two-player team format, as per the City of Raleigh.
The tournament is limited to 16 teams, or 32 players total. Organizers will use a round-robin pool play format, allowing each team to play multiple games before the top teams advance to the playoffs. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, and there will also be recognition for the best team name.
The registration fee is $10 per team. In addition to the tournament, attendees can expect music and food during the event. Registration is required, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
