Raleigh’s Peach Road Park will host a Life Crafts Camp for children on April 2, from 8 a.m. to noon. The half-day camp will teach practical skills, including sewing, cooking, and gardening, combining education with hands-on activities, according to the City of Raleigh.
The camp is open to children ages 7 to 11 and requires advance registration due to limited spots. The cost is $35 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Participants should bring their own snacks and water bottles.
The camp is designed to teach children practical life skills that promote independence and self-reliance, providing lessons that extend beyond the classroom. Parents interested in registering their children can visit the Raleigh Parks and Recreation website for more information and to complete registration forms.
