Heads up, Loveland Boulevard travelers. According to a traffic advisory posted on Charlotte County's official website, expect a couple of days of detours as the road between Quasar Boulevard and Harold Avenue shuts down for milling and asphalt work. The closure is slated for tomorrow through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it's your friendly neighborhood Central Site Development rolling out the heavy machinery.
For anyone needing to navigate this stretch during these times, you'll be rerouted, the detour signs will be your guide, and you better factor in some extra minutes—or maybe lots of them—into your commute. As noted in the traffic advisory, Central Site Development's Alexander Elijallad can be reached at 813-621-7800 if you've got questions that need answering, and there might be a few considering the interruption of our daily ballet of back and forth on Loveland.
The Public Works Department is on the same page, urging 'motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.'
