A Monday afternoon shooting in north Charlotte left one person with life-threatening injuries and sent first responders racing to the scene, according to MEDIC.
The agency said crews were called to the area around 4:30 p.m. and took the injured person to a hospital in critical condition. Police officers quickly moved in, but shared only limited information as investigators began sorting out what led up to the violence.
