Raleigh is introducing a new yoga program designed for parents and their children. "Family Tree Yoga" encourages family fitness while promoting interactive, intergenerational bonding, according to the City of Raleigh. Starting March 3 and running every Thursday through March 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., sessions will be held on Hill Street for children ages three to five and their caregivers.
The sessions, costing $40 for the full program, are open to all skill levels, including beginners, and aim to provide participants with a lasting foundation in yoga. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.
Registration for the Family Tree Yoga program is now open, with participants able to sign up through RecLink, where additional information is also available.
