A morning commute on I-4 in Osceola County was disrupted following a collision involving a school bus. The incident, which took place around 7:30 a.m. near World Drive, resulted in injuries to two adults and significant traffic delays, according to WFTV.
While the crash did not result in any injuries among the children on board the bus, the affected adults were transported to Celebration Hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening. Eastbound travel was hampered as two right lanes were blocked off to traffic following the collision, raising congestion particularly around ChampionsGate. Correspondingly, available details indicate that the involved school bus and at least one other vehicle were part of the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol, which is currently investigating the particulars of the crash, has not released any information regarding its cause or any charges that might be related. As reported by WESH, drivers were advised to anticipate delays as they navigated the area or seek alternative routes.
