A 10-year-old riding a bicycle on the 2700 block of Trailing Vine Road in Spring was struck by a vehicle Friday, according to Harris County Precinct 4. Emergency medical crews took the child to a nearby hospital while deputies secured the scene and launched an investigation.

According to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4, deputies responded to an auto-pedestrian crash in the 2700 block of Trailing Vine Road. EMS transported the 10-year-old to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Constable Herman’s office said the investigation remains ongoing. Deputies also urged drivers to slow down and use extra caution around neighborhoods and school zones, particularly while first responders are working in the area.
