Hernando County Fire Rescue crews responded to a house fire in the 1300 block of Leeward Avenue in Spring Hill on Thursday afternoon. The fire started on a back patio and was reported just after 4 p.m., according to Hernando County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, limiting damage to the lanai area. HCFR said the cause was cooking, and no injuries were reported, though the occupants were temporarily displaced.
