In an announcement made via social media, the Springfield Township Police Department reported a break in the case of a series of vehicle break-ins. The break-ins, which had plagued the Hallmark Estates neighborhood off Killian Road and South Arlington Road during the overnight hours of February 6, left residents on edge in the days that followed.
The Police Department, which had previously shared photos related to the investigation and asked for public assistance, updated the community on the arrests. "We are pleased to report that both individuals involved have now been identified and arrested," the Springfield Township Police Department social media post read. Significantly, the suspects apprehended in connection with the crimes are both juveniles from the local area, one hailing from Coventry Township and the other from Springfield Township.
