Site work is officially underway on Centurion at Inspirada, a 24-acre mixed-use project that aims to give Henderson’s Inspirada neighborhood a full-service town center of its own. Developers held a ceremonial groundbreaking on Feb. 26, 2026, and say the project will bring about 78,756 square feet of retail, anchored by a Sprouts grocery store, along with roughly 600 apartment units. The first phase, focused on retail, is expected to cost around $60 million, with the retail complex slated to wrap up by Dec. 31, 2026.
Developer and site details
Centurion is being developed by Centurion 2 LLC, a subsidiary of Sansone Companies, on a site at the corner of Via Centro and Via Inspirada inside the Inspirada master plan. Plans filed with the city outline an eight-building retail village set apart from multifamily buildings across the roughly 24-acre site, creating a new town center-style hub for west Henderson, as detailed by NVBEX.
Retail anchor and apartment count
Publicity materials peg the retail footprint at about 78,756 square feet and identify Sprouts as the planned grocery anchor, with the full buildout expected to include roughly 600 rental apartments. Developer Miles Sansone said the company intends to deliver the retail complex first, then follow with the multifamily portion, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Phasing and design
Design review documents describe Phase One as the commercial core, with roughly 80,000 square feet of storefronts, restaurants, and the grocery component. Two later residential phases are planned to deliver the approximately 600 apartments. The housing portion calls for podium-style, six-story buildings organized around courtyards, pools, and clubhouse amenities, all intended to support a walkable, mixed-use environment, according to city packets summarized by NVBEX.
Approvals and price
Henderson City Council signed off on plans for Centurion in 2024. Public records show the developers bought the property in 2020 for about $15.1 million. The retail phase comes with an estimated $60 million price tag and is expected to open by Dec. 31, 2026, a timeline local officials say will help quickly close a retail gap in west Henderson, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
What’s next
Sansone Companies has started marketing pre-lease opportunities for the Inspirada retail space and is positioning the project to serve both incoming residents and surrounding neighborhoods. The company’s property listings show available space at 2605 Via Inspirada and note that leasing the retail first is meant to anchor the larger mixed-use buildout, per Sansone Companies.
