Authorities are currently searching for a suspect involved in the fatal shooting of a man at a Brooklyn nightclub on Valentine's Day. The incident, which resulted in the death of 30-year-old Sheriff Shittu, occurred at the Quilox Lounge located on Church Avenue near East 95th Street in East Flatbush. In a report by Gothamist, officials stated the altercation took place around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Wearing a black jacket and white pants, the man allegedly responsible for the shooting fled the scene in an unknown direction, as per the NYPD. Shittu, who hailed from Far Rockaway, was struck in the head by a bullet and succumbed to his injuries at Brookdale University Hospital. Brooklyn News 12 further described the suspect as a bearded man dressed in jeans and a gray jacket.
