Swift Arrest Made Following Daylight Burglary in Northwest Washington, Search Continues for Second Suspect

Authorities have reported a swift arrest following a brazen daylight burglary in Northwest Washington. The incident took place on Sunday, when Third District officers were called to the scene on the 2100 block of 8th Street after two individuals had forced entry into a local establishment, making away with various items.

The Metropolitan Police Department stated that after gaining access to security footage, officers managed to locate one of the suspects in the vicinity. 34-year-old Patrick David Brewer, with no permanent residence on record, was apprehended with some of the stolen property in his possession and has since been charged with Burglary Two, according to the department's press release.

While a quick arrest has provided some solace, the search continues for the second suspect involved in the incident. The Metropolitan Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward, assuring confidentiality and even offering up to a $1,000 reward for details leading to an arrest and indictment.
