
A 15-year-old was reportedly slashed at a Queens subway station on Tuesday during daylight hours, according to the NYPD. The incident took place around 1 p.m. on the southbound 7 train platform at the 90th Street–Elmhurst Avenue station, according to PIX11. Authorities reported that a group confronted the 15-year-old and demanded his belongings, leading to a fight in which one of the attackers drew a knife and slashed the victim’s hand.
After the attack, the suspects fled the scene, disappearing into the surrounding area. The injured teenager was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. The NYPD has released photos of the suspected attackers and is asking anyone with information to come forward. According to a NYPD Crimestoppers post, the incident occurred on Tuesday, around 1:00 p.m. on the southbound 7 platform at the 90th Street Station. A group approached the 15-year-old victim, demanded his belongings, and during a physical altercation, one assailant drew a knife and slashed his hand before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
