Three teenagers have been charged in a downtown Waukesha shooting that took place on Thursday last week near Wisconsin and Maple avenues. No one was injured, as per WISN report. The suspects are 19-year-old Kaden Hoefler, 18-year-old Dominic Doran, and 19-year-old Santos Rodriguez.
Authorities say the attack targeted Hoefler’s ex-girlfriend and that the suspects tracked the location using Snapchat before opening fire, according to TMJ4.
Officials reported that 15 shots were fired in an initial drive-by, followed by a second round after the assailants circled the block. Court records cited by FOX6 Now indicate that bullet casings found in Hoefler’s truck matched those recovered from outside the apartment, and surveillance footage showed a red truck linked to the suspects circling the block multiple times.
Doran and Rodriguez are each held on $100,000 bond, while Hoefler’s bond was initially set at $10,000, with the prosecution considering an increase. All three have denied firing the gun. A teenage victim, identified as Halie Kreuter, told FOX6 Now that the incident has left her fearful for her safety at home.
