Houston-born breakfast chain The Toasted Yolk Cafe is about to drop another brunch anchor in north San Antonio, with a new restaurant headed for The Legacy Shops. The expansion continues the fast-growing brands push into the Alamo City, following a streak of Central Texas openings. Expect big plates, boozy brunch cocktails and the chains signature comfort-food spins once the doors swing open.
According to Community Impact, The Toasted Yolk Cafe is scheduled to open tomorrow at 18402 N. Hwy. 281, Ste. 101 inside the Legacy Shops shopping center. The publication reports that the opening date comes from the chains own San Antonio location listing.

The Toasted Yolks menu leans into hearty brunch staples and playful riffs on classics, including Nashville hot chicken and waffles, a Double Decker omelet, the chains signature Arnolds and extra-deep Belgian waffles. The San Antonio Legacy location page lists hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and currently marks the site as coming soon, according to The Toasted Yolk.

The Legacy outpost will add to a growing San Antonio footprint that started with a November 2025 debut at 911 N. Hunt Lane, franchise operators told the San Antonio Express-News. The Toasted Yolk has also been expanding across Central Texas, with recent openings in Round Rock and filings for a Bastrop location, as reported by MySA.
