A West Baltimore block turned into a crime scene last night when a 3-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound, according to police. Officers discovered the child on the 700 block of Wilbron Avenue at about 10:30 p.m., and he was taken to a nearby hospital with an ankle wound that authorities say was not life-threatening.
According to FOX Baltimore, Western District detectives responded to the scene and found the boy suffering from the ankle injury before an ambulance transported him for treatment. WBFF’s report also noted that a photograph from the scene was credited to station photographer Maggie Ybarra.
