Upper Arlington is set to turn Zollinger Road into a thoroughfare of the future with improvements aimed at bolstering safety and enhancing the overall travel experience. The thoroughfare that connects Riverside Drive to North Star Road is undergoing a metamorphosis, courtesy of Upper Arlington’s Engineering Division's planning and design initiative. Dubbed the Zollinger Road Mobility & Safety Improvement Project, this move seeks to reposition a vital roadway to meet the demands of its burgeoning community.
For all those interested in the transformation of Zollinger Road, the City invites you to a Community Open House. Set for February 4, from 6 to 8 pm at the Bob Crane Community Center, residents and business proprietors can come through anytime during the event to survey the potential design alternatives, fire off queries, and impart their insights. A link to further project specifics has been posted in the comments of the City of Upper Arlington's recent social media update.
"A safer, smarter Zollinger Road starts with you," echoes the call to action from the City of Upper Arlington. This phrase is not just a rallying cry but an invitation to the people of Upper Arlington to play a pivotal part in the city’s journey towards improving one of its most crucial roads. With a nod towards participatory governance, the city underscores the significance of the contributions from those who traverse the road daily.
